The gacha I log in the most consistently on nowadays, and one of my top recommendations. I had Lob Corp & Library of Ruina in my fav games so you should've known this was coming. Anyways, other than the expected of Project Moon(good storywriting & worldbuilding), the gameplay is good. Pretty simple, but recent IDs have really been adding more gameplay variety to the different keyword teams. As always mentioned with this game as well, it is extremely F2P, like you can get every ID and E.G.O in the game without using the Gacha almost ever F2P. Limbus Company's only downside is still being pretty lacking in endgame/post story content. As much as I'm a sucker for my roguelikes and still heavily enjoy MD, I can agree it can get repetitive fast, especially if you don't have a team for every status minimum yet, and RR is a boss rush only for those who are kitted out.

The gacha that's the closest to the average non-Gacha game in terms of complexity. Pretty fun Slay the Spire inspired gacha with a Lovecraftian world. Has some of the most skill based gameplay in basically any gacha I've played, with a lot of different characters and builds to compliment it. Game is extremely F2P with good character pull rates(average sub-1% pull rates for WoDs), very high pull income, and common Limited reruns. Don't really have much gripes with it other than the fact that most of the older characters in Standard(especially my baby Ultra) need much more substantial buffs imo.
Try to start this game during a good banner or event like Anniversaries so you can immediately use your newbie pulls on carry Limiteds. Also, Flares is the best EN guide maker on this game, don't trust the masses within the community on whether you should listen to him, he's goated.

LOOK IT'S THE ENDFIELD GAME- *shot dead on the street*
*ahem* Just to make it clear, I started Arknights cuz of the Limbus collab, was already playing a good bit before Endfield's release. Peak TD gaming, and a...mostly skill based gacha. Kinda F2P friendly, on one hand, good gacha mechanics(soft + hard pity, pity carryover, & sparking/guarantee). On the other hand, pull income in this game is abysmal, and you'll be saving for weeks to have a decent amount of pulls. Not a good amount of pulls or pity guarantee amount, just a decent amount. Game's still pretty fun though and you can still clear most of it with lower rarities. When you start doesn't really matter, just play the game if you find it interesting.
Just to make it clear later, I am Sir. Dragon Fucker, I love my dragon women. Bug ladies too.

Best way to describe NIKKE gameplay is that it's literally one of those shoot-em-up games you see at arcades where you have to hold a gun and shoot whatever pops up on screen...except on your phone or PC. It's pretty fun, units are well balanced, pull economy is fine, OST and character designs are amazing, and the story is one of the best in the space. My only criticism against NIKKE is that it's F2P...90% of the time, it has its moments(*ahem* level 180 wall). Other than that, peak.

Should you start: If you like autobattlers!
It's a fine autobattler. Outside of that, not much standout about BA. The story starts off pretty weak like most gachas but gets really good around the end, especially Decagrammation it's honestly kinda peak. The characters are cool, though obviously you gotta tolerate loli. Pretty F2P, rates aren't bad, pull income is good. Yeah, not much to say lol, just play it if you want a chill autobattler. While in my opinion, you shouldn't let a community be a key factor in whether or not you play something, just putting it out there that BA's community is not bad tbh, it's just that both the good and bad side of the fandom are very vocal, something I wish the good sides of other gacha communities were.
Also, playing this game doesn't automatically make you a lolicon, nor does it by extreme extension make you a pedophile...
Chaos Zero Nightmare
User ID: 435452331816 // Activity: Mostly Weekly // Fav Character: Selena
Should you start: Yes!
One of the most overhated gachas. Had a rough period at the start with the Story drama and some QoL that could've been around at launch, but outside of that the gameplay since launch has always been really good. This has the single best roguelike gameplay loop out of basically every gacha I've played that either is a roguelike or has a roguelike gamemode, and by extension the best endgame mode of any gacha. Outside of some missing QoL that still needs to be implemented, Zero System is goated, it's replayable as hell and making builds in CZN has not only never been easier but never been more fun, there's barely any RNG now. Also, EVERY character, regardless of rarity has potential builds that can make them goated, and the different Chaos environments allow for so many different ways to build units it's actually insane.
If you were remotely interested in CZN, just pick it up dawg.

Pretty cool action game, didn't expect much initially going in but the game surprised me. For a simple control scheme, it's surprising how much characters can vary in playstyle. I didn't progress too far in this game yet, so I can't speak for pull income or how F2P it is myself, but while there is probably a big amount of premium currency you can get from content, my gripe is that I feel you get it way too slow. It takes a while before you have enough to pull again...
Game's good though generally. Don't worry about when to start, the game gives enough great rewards starting out that it doesn't really matter.
Arknights: Endfield

Should you start: When a character you like is running!
Megumi gacha. As much as I like Endfield it still has some rough edges to deal with, and some it can't. Combat for the most part outside of bosses is still super lax, pull income could be higher, and this game runs the pseudo-Limited approach where every character is basically a Limited and is only available in banners that feature them or Endfield's special case: the next 2 banners after their debut. Outside of that, the game is beautiful, the Factory side of the game is great, and building teams outside of execution is pretty fun.
Because of what I mentioned earlier about the gacha, you should only start once a character you personally like starts running. Viability isn't much a concern in Endfield, as your team build matters more than the output of each individual member.

Should you start: If you just want to see the story, no. Otherwise, maybe?
The most confusing heap of barely working parts I have ever played. If you asked the Marlon of around the time I started playing GF1 if you should start this game I would say HELL NO, but now it's more of a maybe. I think the gameplay behind all the fluff and shit is some pretty fun strategy gameplay, nothing else in the gacha genre is like it currently except for maybe Blue Archive depending on what you like about GF1 gameplay. Also, extremely F2P as well, it all just depends on whether you can endure the jank and unintuitive game mechanics lol.
what GF1 DOES have though is an absolutely amazing storyline, but you don't need to play the game to view it. Someone made a website that allows you to easily read GF1's story in a log with similar UI to the game itself, so there's no reason to play the game if you wanna read up on the peak lore.

Should you start: When a character you like is running!
Everything past GF1 on this list that has the panel you see here are gachas I either don't play too often now or don't like as much as every game above GF1, and Uma is both tbh. Played this game a ton during launch and the first couple months of it, but burnout started hitting. Not necessarily because I was playing too much, I think Uma's gameplay loop is fine, repetitive but not the worst and I wasn't too bored of it yet. The true culprit...was the pull rates. Holy ass. I've spent over 200 pulls across banners and haven't got basically anything. You don't realize the value of Soft & Hard Pity till it's gone. Having the same characters in cards in a rapidly changing meta for so long just got me bored and I hopped off. I get on Uma every blue moon just to check on it, or when a character I like gets in global.
Fire Emblem Heroes

Should you start: No.
If you saw my favorite games, then you know I love Fire Emblem. That being said, telling you to play this game would be the same as selling your soul to the devil. Powercreep incarnate. Anyone who says Star Rail is the worst in terms of powercreep simply never played this game, launch FEH is practically a different game at this point. FEH may give a lot of pulls but don't let it fool you, the meta changes literally every week since new banners drop really often, the character you pulled today could become useless or countered tomorrow. Oh, hope you like Math by the way.
There was a time this game was just pocket Fire Emblem. Where did the time go? I just log on to collect favorites, that's what 90% of the player base does nowadays as well. Do not play this, don't fall like I have.

I have played GF2 and still currently have it, but I haven't really dipped into it yet. I've only done the tutorial and a small few story nodes outside of that. Planning to play GF2 once I've made way more progress in GF1.
Crusaders Quest

Should you start: Your choice!
Sweetie, how I wish you weren't all the way down here.
Crusaders Quest was the first gacha I have ever played, and I still think it's kakaogames' best work, way better than Guardian Tales & the now EoS'd Goddess Order imo. That being said, this game is not one I want to put down here, but have to because it reached EoS.
Why is it here if it EoS'd then? 1, Because the devs are goated and the game is still up and playable! They even made most of the grind of endgame way easier to compensate for the game no longer getting content updates, and all non-collab Limiteds are permanently running. 2, I've invested too many hours to not have it here.
