Worked in a team of 3 for this one, was a really fun time to lend my skills to this! even though my laptop decided to have a seizure the whole semester I had this class, led to some embarassing moments man. You can see the full credits on the game page!

I as the role entails, mainly contributed the coding for it, though I did also add some ideas to the game's design like the Examine System. I did my best to have a flexible codebase as well as added comments and organization so our director could easily utilize it(and it seems to have worked since the game got updated post production to have an actual story and not my bullshit, along side other changes).

The code is pretty efficient as well, it doesn't seem to have any problems running since we initially launched it nor much bugs, which is pretty good since while I didn't rush it I did make most of it within short timeframes.

If you want to know more about the development process of this game, me and the team left devlogs on the game's page throughout development so you can get an exact look at my thought processes there! Look for the ones made by AnotherProgram, and I would also recommend reading the post-production devlog left by Shakk/MaddMavv since it gives a bit more insight to what I meant with the flexible codebase.

Worked in a team of 4 for this one, mainly really taught me how to work in a team environment. Go to the game page to see full credits, all I'll say is that I was the sole Programmer and I also assisted with the game design.

This might be a theme with my digital projects, but yeah I'm a pretty fine programmer, it's my aspect of developing games I'm single handedly the best at with not much competition. Still though, I did provide the item designs in terms of stats/effects and the whole artifact system was something I coded to add a little buildcrafting spice because it's the aspect of roguelike/roguelite games I enjoy the most.

Midnight Parallax

Role: Sole Developer // Genre: ARG (Adventure)

A rather...unique concept I came up with for a Bitsy-based project for college. This is a connected series of smaller games with multiple endings, and the goal is to get the secret ending in every game to build a code to go into the finale and solve the Parallax!

I didn't implement the finale game in time, but every other game is basically complete, and not every one is exactly the same! Since this whole thing was supposed to be a giant Christmas gift for my friends, I didn't really care to not implement the finale since it was gonna be about me.

It contains a lot of inside jokes, but it might still be enjoyable to anyone else so I suggest you try it! Just avoid the cheat sheet unless you're stuck, it is basically a puzzle game after all.
