Nullscape

Platform: PC/Console/Mobile

Currently my top favorite Roblox game as of Patch 5 and some controversy with what used to be my top favorite. Once you pass the Level 10-15 mark and get your hands on Ninja Belt, all the Jumps, Sport Shoes, and the other essential upgrades the game is peak.

Before then though? Yeah, it's rough. Early Game isn't even a roguelike, you'll pick the same stuff without fail every single run to the point you might start doing it subconsciously. Bell & Springer, get rings, jumps, wings, ice skates at Lv 5...it's a cycle. Early Game is so bad there's a dedicated population of the community for this game that doesn't play lobbies from the beginning and only joins lobbies that already got past the 10-15 mark, making Early Game even MORE boring lol

Still though, fine game, and I do still find it way better and much more unique than every other Roblox game I've played...except one...which is right below this game...

Grace

Platform: PC/Console/I think Mobile

Following the game ending in a pretty unceremonious state, yeah I can't have it higher than Nullscape anymore, but detaching art from artist here, I think Grace is genuinely near perfect for a Roblox game. It has good game flow, unlike other Rooms games and honestly most Roblox games in general you're not waiting forever for the game to get good, most entity designs and lore is very unique, and the sub gamemodes still maintain the fast and chaotic nature of the game in their own unique ways. Really, near 10/10 Roblox game, I have a few issues with it myself just to show that I'm not just glazing. A noticeable amount of the non-Omni traits are mostly kinda just dead weight(like really, in what situations would you go "I wish I had the Pressure Diving Gear" or whatever it's called now), and there were still a small few unfair entity combos, mainly Kookoo's existence, and MAYHEM will forever be unfinished and super buggy. Still though, if you ask me the game is peak, and since the creators already put the game behind them, basically no harm in playing it now.

Block Tales

Platform: PC/Console/Mobile

Holy this game is good. Very cool Paper Mario inspired turn based RPG. The budget of this game keeps inflating every chapter and so does the story writing(...except for the first Chapter 3 rewrite, we won't talk about that). Oh, I can't mention Block Tales without mentioning the soundtrack, the OST for this game is so freaking good, especially past Chapter 2 imo. Not to say Chapter 1 or 2's soundtracks are bad, but Chapter 3 and onward are just constant bangers.

Absolvement

Platform: PC

This is not a section of me talking about how good the game is or how much I like it. This is a PSA to get more people, including you reading this, to play the game. Not because the game is really good, although it is, but because there are so little public lobbies in this game due to the low count of active players and 90% of the lobbies, even the public ones, are people playing with their friends and you'll just get kicked or struggle finding a lobby for minutes. This game has really cool ways to play supportive playstyles but if you don't got a friend or friends to at minimum duo the game with there's no point in doing so because finding people to play with through pubs is a pain.

You got all that? Good, go play the game, take initiative, & host lobbies. Also, don't be afraid of affixes, read them, a good amount of them are pretty free.

Darkest Hours

Platform: PC

Since this game is in Alpha, it's an absolute Megumi game rn. However, it's a pretty fun game regardless. I think after the 1 thousand asym games that get released on Roblox like every week, it's pretty nice to have a game where there's no P.C killers and everyone just gotta survive.

HOURS

Platform: PC

A REALLY cool roguelike game. Unlike most Roblox games, this is an entirely single player experience, and it is very much worth playing if you haven't played it before! The game has a really cool time gimmick that makes different characters and builds super varied, and the ways in which the game makes you abuse it is so interesting man.

If all that wasn't enough to convince you, this game is being made into an actual game off Roblox as we speak! One day, it's gonna be on the Steam store page so you gotta give it a try, strike whilst the iron is hot!

neonKnights

Platform: PC/I think Console

Have you noticed yet that most of the games on this list are roguelikes? Is it a good game because it is a roguelike, or is it a roguelike because it is a good game? Don't answer the question, just play.

Project: Creedbreaker & Operation Abberation

Platform: PC

These games are both ridiculously similar so they get put in the same section, anyways...

The room goes pitch black, and a computer sits before you. In front of it is a keyboard and mouse, but also a red & blue button. The only thing open on the computer is a text file in a Notepad tab:

"This computer's keyboard and mouse are non-functional until you press one of the two buttons. Before you is a choice of Wave Survival Roblox games to play for the next few hours. Press the red button, and you'll play Creedbreaker, the one with the most content, but only has build variety under the pretense that you are content with not winning. Press the blue button, and you'll play Abberation, the one with less content due to being really early in development, but has actual build variety without sacrificing general viability. Which will you choose? Let the games begin."

The Dogwatching Trilogy

Platform: PC

A trilogy of FNaF Roblox demake games that is worthwhile to play! Despite being demakes, these games have significantly different mechanics and gameplay from their original counterparts, especially after the 1st game. Give this a shot if you haven't already.

Also gonna use this space to recommend Night Swarming, Morning Hunt, & tvReprogramming if you want more of this, these are mainly based of certain FNaF fan games(Jolly, One Night at Flumpty's, & Five Nights at Tubbyland 2 to be specific).
